The founders of the Company (in a steel business) were being approached by a prospective investor to inject capital into the Company to fuel expansion plans through automation and providing new integrated solutions to the company’s established customers. We assisted in the preparation of the financial perspective statements, carrying out the Company’s valuation, and presenting the valuation and value proposition of S$22M for 23% of the Company’s shareholdings to the prospective investor.
The two founders of the Company (in the pallet business) have been in business for close to 30 years. One of the founder shareholders is seeking to exit due to his age and lack of successor. We assisted the founder shareholders to structure a deal between them where the exit shareholder sells his 60% shareholdings to the other shareholder.
